Prayer Meetings to Resume
Following the trial prayer meeting held in the Church Building last Wednesday, the Trustees and Elders thought it would be useful to give an update on how we felt it went, and what the next steps are.
I’m sure those in attendance would agree that it was great to meet together in one building to have fellowship together through corporate prayer.
There were 35 of us in total who met, and in general the one way systems, signage and other social distancing measures worked well. We also felt that the format of 30-40 minutes of prayer worked well.
We have therefore decided to continue the Prayer Meeting in the hall each Wednesday at 7:30pm going forward. There will therefore be no Zoom prayer meeting each Wednesday.
It is still the intention to continue holding our Sunday services on Zoom for the time being. Given the additional number of people who join on a Sunday, and the continued 50 person limit for meeting under Government guidance, we feel that this is the best decision.
We understand that there will be some who were relying on Zoom to be able to attend Church. We hope that whilst the Wednesday meeting is no longer on Zoom, you will still be able to attend Church on a Sunday and continue to meet with your fellow believers.
We will continue to monitor and review the situation and make decisions as necessary on the best way for us to meet.
In Christ
